Despite the coronavirus, the School of Education’s Art Department has hosted a number of exhibitions this fall, featuring student work in a variety of disciplines.

Though the department’s galleries are not open to the public currently, the work shown in many of these exhibitions can be viewed via social media and other online sources.

Check out some of these opportunities to see what UW–Madison art students have been up to:

• “Sculptur-ween,” which was on display at Gallery 7 in the Humanities Building, features the work of students in the department’s Sculpture program. Through this exhibition, you can see how the program encourages students to develop their voices as artists, addressing a broad spectrum of professional practice and possibilities from objects to projects, including public art through a balance between diverse and inclusive concepts, context, and processes.
• Students in the department’s Printmaking program welcome you to view individual images their of work at their group exhibition, “We Hope This Show Finds You Well,” featuring the work of graduate student printmakers Ash Armenta, Jacob Bautista, Jonathan Byxbe, Juan Dehoyos, Cullen Houser, Maeve Leslie, Monty Little, Sophie Loubere, Roberto Torres Mata, Lesley Numbers, Carley Schmidt, Katelyn St. John, and Derick Wycherly.
